This pendant is made of Smoky Topaz and a natural Herkimer Diamond set in a sterling silver bezel. Herkimer diamonds  are sourced outside of New York in Herkimer County where they were discovered in the late 18th century.  At the time there was a lot of excitement as it was believed they had found diamonds, but then it was found they are actually a quartz crystal.  They have fine clarity which gives them the name Herkimer Diamonds.  It may not be a traditional diamond, but you can still capture your own New York vibe wearing this silver pendant.
